Medicare Shared Savings Program
The Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) is the largest value-based payment model and the only permanent ACO program in traditional Medicare. The first performance year of the MSSP began in 2012 with two participation options and the program has since evolved through rulemaking to include the Basic Track with Levels A through E and the Enhanced Track. This webpage includes public and members-only resources from NAACOS as well as CMS resources on the MSSP and key program elements.
