ACO Members
NAACOS defines ACOs as legal entities that hold one or more contracts with CMS, state Medicaid agencies, and/or commercial insurance organizations. Our multi-ACO members are legal entities that own or are financially integrated with one or more ACOs. ACO members may present on the conference program and network with all conference attendees. ACO members may register an unlimited number of staff to attend events like the conferences and boot camps. Through their membership with NAACOS, ACO members gain visibility and recognition for their organizations at NAACOS events. ACO members may vote for the board of directors election and may serve on the board and committees. Any organization that includes an ACO may only join NAACOS as an ACO member and may not join as a Business Partner.
NAACOS educational events are designed for ACOs to learn about issues affecting ACOs and to network with peers. Any employee of an ACO member may register to attend the conference. However, ACO attendees may not sell their products to other ACOs or recruit other ACOs to their organization. ACO members who do so will jeopardize their membership in NAACOS and their participation in future NAACOS events.
Business Partners
Partners, including Business Partners, Alliance Partners, and Partner Circle, are companies with products and services for sale to ACOs. Partners may sponsor and exhibit at the conference. They may promote and sell their products to all conference attendees. They may not present on the main program at the conference. They are limited to registering two people to attend the conference, and they may register up to three more depending on whether they sponsor the conference and at what level of sponsorship. Partners do not vote for the NAACOS board of directors and may not serve on the board and committees. Companies with subsidiaries may choose whether the parent company or a subsidiary is the NAACOS partner. However the partnership and its associated benefits may be held in a single company name and used in that name only. NAACOS will list the partner in that name with that logo. Any staff attending our events will have that partner’s affiliation listed. We will not change the name throughout the partnership term.
