NAACOS Statement on Senate Finance Committee Markup
Attributed to Clif Gaus, Sc.D., President and CEO of the National Association of ACOs
NAACOS was pleased to see the dialogue around value-based care and the need to incentivize the value movement at today’s Senate Finance Committee markup. We agree with Chairman Wyden’s comments that alternative payment models are a wise investment for our health system. NAACOS thanks the committee for including an extension of these important incentives in today’s package. We appreciate the recognition that stronger incentives are needed and look forward to continuing to work with lawmakers on finding the best policy in both the short and long term.
