Deanna Bachman, BS, RN is the Manager of Program Development for Sparrow Health System- Population Health in East Lansing, Michigan. .She is responsible for managing both clinical and administrative teams within a large Clinically Integrated Network, with oversight of Provider Engagement, Payer Performance, and Accurate Risk Capture.
Prior to taking this role, Deanna was the Manager of Care Management Services for Sparrow, dedicated to a team of chronic care managers, transitional care clinicians, and Community Health Workers serving 41 primary care practices. In addition to care management, her nursing and leadership background includes home-based hospice care, cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, and geriatrics. She also served as a geriatric social worker and care manager for approximately 15 years prior to her nursing career.
Deanna earned an B.S. in Psychology and Social Psychology from Western Michigan University, and then received her nursing degree in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her passion throughout her educational and career pathways has been to empower individuals and communities to seek out wellness and to receive support throughout all stages of life. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, running, and spending time with her family and dog.
