NAACOS Welcomes ACO Growth in 2025
Attributed to Aisha Pittman, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs of the National Association of ACOs
“NAACOS is encouraged by the continued growth of accountable care models, as highlighted by data released today by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). More than 53 percent of beneficiaries in traditional Medicare are now part of an accountable care relationship, giving physicians the flexibility to deliver tailored, patient-centered care that prioritizes keeping Americans healthy. This progress demonstrates that when providers are empowered to manage costs and focus on outcomes, they can achieve high quality outcomes and drive innovation.
“We look forward to working with CMS to continue to expand these models by reducing regulatory burdens, enhancing program sustainability, and supporting provider-led innovation.”
